Golang binaries are a bit hard to analyze but there are some tricks to locate the things and view what is doing the code.

Is possible to list all the go files compiled in the binary even in an striped binaries, in this case we have only one file gohello.go this is a good clue to guess what is doing the program.

On stripped binaries the runtime functions are not resolved so is more difficult to locate the user algorithms:

The golang string initialization are encoded and is not displayed on the strings window.

How to locate main? if its not stripped just bp on [package name].main for example bp main.main, (you can locate the package-name searching strings with ".main")

So in a stripped binary we cant find the string "hello world" neither the initialization 0x1337 nor the comparator 0x1337, all this is obfuscated.

1. Click on the entry point and locate the runtime.mainPC pointer:

The runtime is not obvious for example the fmt.Scanf() call perform several internal calls until reach the syscall, and in a stripped binary there are no function names.

In order to identify the functions one option is compile another binary with symbols and make function fingerprinting.

In Ghidra we have the script golang_renamer.py which is very useful:

Las pruebas al resto de efectivos del parque de Almendralejo han resultado negativas.

Ante la aparición de diversas noticias en los medios de comunicación de nuestra región haciéndose eco del contagio de dos de nuestros bomberos por el virus SARS-CoV-2, el CPEI quiere informar que a estos bomberos se les ha efectuado la prueba de PCR y su diagnóstico positivo confirma la detección del virus.

La rápida actuación del Consorcio en aplicar sus procedimientos de seguridad recogidos en su Plan de Contingencia, diseñado para minimizar el impacto de un posible contagio en los Parques de Bomberos que gestiona, ha evitado un número mayor de contagios. De esta forma, se ha procedido a realizar estas pruebas a los compañeros que han tenido un contacto con el bombero afectado, resultando todas negativas.

Junto a ello, las barreras profilácticas propuestas por el Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Badajoz han sido eficaces en la contención de contagios dentro del Parque. Con todo, se va a proceder a hacer este tipo de prueba a todos los efectivos del Parque de Bomberos donde se ha descubierto la presencia del virus.

El Consorcio insiste en que en estos instantes los bomberos con sintomatología están fuera de todo peligro y están recibiendo la atención especializada de los profesionales sanitarios. Por ello, desde el CPEI quieren transmitir un mensaje de tranquilidad dado que se trata de una situación totalmente controlada y a la que el Consorcio ha sabido responder con rapidez y eficacia con el fin de asegurar la salud de la totalidad de sus efectivos.

Por otro lado, y justificado por lo anterior, el Consorcio quiere precisar, y a su vez informar, que al cierre provisional del Parque de Bomberos de Fregenal de la Sierra, se le suma el de Villafranca de los Barros. Un cierre preventivo que se erige como la fórmula más certera que el Consorcio implementa para hacer frente a esta crisis sanitaria, entendiendo que la mejor respuesta que puede ofrecer ante esta situación es poner a disposición de la ciudadanía provincial de todos sus medios humanos y materiales para garantizar la salud y la seguridad de los ciudadanos extremeños constituyéndose, además, como una medida estratégica para minimizar el impacto de esta pandemia en sus Parques.

Por último, insistir que la decisión del cierre preventivo de estos Parques de Bomberos no supone una desatención a los municipios del radio de acción donde se ubican estos Parques ya que todas las localidades quedan suficientemente atendidas por la cercanía de otros Parques, garantizando el Consorcio el servicio esencial que presta a los municipios extremeños con el agrupamiento de sus recursos humanos y materiales.
